Performance at the 2009 Vancouver Cultural Olympiad
I'm thrilled to start the New Year with a performance at the Vancouver 2009 Cultural Olympiad. The Cultural Olympiad will run from February 1 to March 21, 2009 with events to be held in more than 70 venues throughout the Games region. On February 13th I will perform at the Biltmore Cabaret along with George Leach from BC and Michael Bernard Fitzgerald from Alberta. Atlantic Canada Tour with Acres and Acres
I will be touring PEI, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia this February with Halifax band Acres and Acres as we make our way to the ECMAs in Corner Brook. Our show in Halifax will be at a new venue called the Company House. I've heard it's a great space and I can't wait to play there! Acres and Acres has just been awarded an Emerging Business Grant for recording and it's going to be a great record for sure!

Official EMCA Showcase in my home Province!
This will be my first time performing at an ECMA showcase in Newfoundland and this year's performance is one of my favorite formats: The Song Circle. I will be performing at the Bluebird North Songwriters Showcase with Lennie Gallant, Kev Corbett, Meaghan Blanchard and Ian Sherwood on Saturday February 28th, 8pm at The Palace. BACK IN THE SADDLE

FEMALE ARTIST OF THE YEAR

Our Newfoundland and Labrador Music Awards show was spectacular and I am the proud new MUSIC NL 2008 Female Artist of the Year! I am now a two time winner of this award and I also recieved a second award as band member of JOE BELLY AND THE SIN CITY RAMBLERS for Country Artist/Group of the Year. Way to go JOE!!!!!
